Pennsylvania 1800

Berks, Greenwich Township. Page 186 line 14 has John Wisser and family. I'm not sure who this is. Johanes was a very common German first name and was often abbreviated as Joh. or even John. Someone named Johanes Jacob Wisser may be known to the family as Jacob.

Pennsylvaina, Lehigh, South Whitehall - Listed on line 20, Daniel Wisser and Family. This appears to be the son of the Daniel Wisser that is currently at the start of my tree.

NOTE: This lists him as 55, if he was born Dec 21, 1803 he should only be 54.

Wisser, Alfendorfer and Ganguire Hammel

Jacob Wisser 64 years old (line 38) lists his trade as "Mason"
His wife Anna Wisser (Davidheiser) is 53
Daughter Sarah Wisser is 20
Son William Wisser is is listed at the top of the next page.

Notice the neighbors Alfendorfer, Ganguire, and Hammel. Sara Wisser, daughter of Daniel Wisser married an Alfendorfer.

Emanuel Wisser, his wife Mary and three of their children start on line 32. His occupation is listed as a Stone Mason.

Emanuel and Mary Wisser are listed on line 72 along with their daughter Mantana Wisser, and son Oscar Wisser. Mary is listed as Margaret, his wife of 40 years. She is shown as the mother of 6 children with all 6 still living. Emanuel's occupation is a farmer.

Emanuel's older brother Solomon Wisser lives next door, see line 76.

1920

Emanuel was married to Lillie after Mary died. Lillie is shown here on the 1920 census with her daughter Bessie Diehl. Emanuel was 76, his wife Lillie 46, and his stepdaughter Bessie was 16.

Emanuel Wisser Died September 22, 1923.
